Participants will learn stage blocking and projection as well as music and movement for the stage. Participants are responsible for their own line memorization. All participants must commit to being present at EVERY rehearsal during tech week and at each scheduled performance. Participants should not miss more than three (3) scheduled rehearsals during the general rehearsal period.

Welcome to Agrabah and the Academy Award-winning adventure of the street rat that became a Prince.

Based on the iconic animated film, with an Academy Award-winning score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, Disney’s Aladdin JR. is sure to send audiences soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with romance and adventure.

When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie’s magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago, Jafar, the Genie and more are here in Disney’s Aladdin JR., a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love.

Theater Academy Presents: Disney's® Peter Pan Jr.

Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick Tinkerbell visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and with a sprinkle of pixie dust begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime the travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile a fierce Indian tribe a band of bungling pirates and of course the villainous Captain Hook.

Participants should not miss more than three (3) scheduled rehearsals during the general rehearsal period.

CASTING & AUDITIONS
Students must come prepared with a short song for the singing portion of the audition. Students must bring dance shoes or gym shoes for the dance audition. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, September 5, with call-backs on Thursday, September 7. Participants must be present both days.
Mandatory attendance at all Tech Week rehearsals January 2 - 4, and all performances January 5 - 6.
