All the necessary equipment and training resources are provided, ensuring that you are prepared to coach and have a fun and rewarding experience. To show our appreciation, all volunteer Head Coaches will receive a gift card for their hard work.

Concussion AwarenessThe Streamwood Park District takes head injuries very seriously.
We strive to educate our volunteer coaches, parents, and participants whenever possible. As a parent of a child who plays youth sports, please take few minutes to familiarize yourself with current information on concussions from the Center for Disease Control's Head's Up website.
Youth Athletic League General NotesWhen registering for any Youth Athletic League, a Program Information Form (PIF) must be filled out in it’s entirety. Program Information Forms can be found online.

Registration Late Fee
If registered after the deadline, a late fee of $10 will be added to the registration fee. Late registrants will be placed on a waiting list, and are not guaranteed a roster spot.
Girls Softball LeagueGames are played at Rahlfs Woods and Hoosier Grove Park. Teams play in an inter-village league with Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, and Roselle. Games are played on Saturdays.

Girls Softball Open Gym
Free to any players that are interested in participating in the Girls Spring Softball League. For more information, please see our Winter 2017 Program Guide (page 16).
Girls Basketball LeagueThe season will consist of 10 games beginning in early January, 2018, and culminating in March. Each participant will receive a uniform consisting of a jersey and shorts. Participants are responsible for their own basketball shoes.
Girls Jr. Sabres Basketball
5th - 8th Grade Girls
The Jr. Sabres Girls Basketball program prepares athletes for playing at Streamwood High School. In this competitive league, playing time will be judged on hard work, dedication, and skill level shown through the course of the season. Players will practice two (2) hours per practice twice a week with one (1) to two (2) weekend games per week. The season runs from mid-February through the end of May. Anyone interested in playing for the Jr. Sabres is required to attend tryouts in order to be eligible for the team. No fee to tryout.

Park Place Gymnasium
Boys & Girls from U6 through U14 will take the field weekly, with games on Saturdays, and practices up to twice a week (depending on age group).
Fall seasons typically run from early September through early November, and Spring seasons from April through June.
This indoor league is played on hardwood basketball court during the months of January through March.
Games are held on Saturdays in the Park Place gymnasium between 9 a.m. & 9 p.m.

Formerly the Streamwood Falcons Football & Cheerleading, Jr. Sabres Football & Cheerleading is dedicated to enriching the lives of children by providing the fundamental skills of football and cheerleading, as well as providing overall sportsmanship, honesty, courage, and self-discipline.

price. Started in 2011, Revolution F.C. has grown with teams from the U10 age group all the way up to a Women’s Team which finished second in the Illinois State Women's Tournament in 2016.
