Letters to Santa

December 1 - December 15

All children who write a letter to Santa will receive a letter directly from the North Pole. Free to all participants. Drop off your letter in one of Santa’s mailboxes located at the Community Center and Park Place. Or, mail your letter directly to:

Breakfast with Santa

All Ages
There will be plenty of smiles and giggles as children have the opportunity to enjoy breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus. This buffet-style meal includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice, and coffee. Each child will be able to visit with Santa, receive a commemorative picture and special present. This is a family event. Children under the age of 2 are FREE unless they will be sitting in a chair of their own. No strollers, please. Tickets must be purchased in-person at Park Place Registration, located on the lower level.

Holiday In Whoville

All Ages
Join us as the Streamwood Park District Cultural Arts Staff brings the holiday classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” to life right before your eyes! Patrons will enjoy a live show, pizza dinner, raffle prizes (1 raffle ticket included with each purchased ticket), and cookie decorating. Fun for the whole family! Tickets must be purchased in-person at the Park Place Registration counter, located on the lower level. Tickets may be sold at the door if seating is available.

Sweets & Treats Valentine's Day Trip

All Ages
Join us for this fun-filled Valentine’s Day adventure full of sweets, treats, and some Jelly Belly fun as we tour the Jelly Belly Factory in Pleasant Prairie, WI. From there it’s off to Rocky Rococo’s for a slice of pizza and beverage before heading home. Busses leave from Park Place at 10 am sharp.

Daddy/Daughter Dance: Under the Sea

Ages 12 & Under
We’ll dance, laugh, and play at our annual Daddy/Daughter Dance! The event will include a light dinner, dessert, fun activities, dancing, and a photo of dads and their dates! Tickets must be purchased in-person at Park Place Registration, located on the lower level.

Polar Express Storytime Trolley

ALLLLL ABBBBOOOOAAAAARRRRRRRRRDDDDDD!
Once aboard the Story Time Trolley you will be transported to the North Pole where you will visit Santa, Mrs. Clause and their Elves in their very own workshop; and receive a Christmas gift from Santa.

On the way to Santa’s North Pole Workshop, Holiday Helpers will read the story of The Polar Express. On the way back to the Park District, each child will receive a special Polar Express commemorative bell and sing some of your favorite Christmas Carols.

Tickets must be purchased in-person at the Park Place registration counter located, in the lower level of the building, 550 S Park Blvd. Strollers and/or car seats will not be allowed on the trolley.

Sunday, December 10
8 Total Trips: 2 p.m. - 5:40 p.m. (roughly 30 minutes in between trips, with each trip lasting 2 hours)
Kids 12 & Under: $18
Adults 12 & Over: $16. Children 2 years & under sitting on laps are free.
